When a user logs in to 42Crunch Portal via SSO, does it create a local user and henceforth everything is managed within the portal?
Is there a way to integrate with AD and be able to map projects to AD groups, so that users in AD group can get access to projects?
Yes, once a user is registered on your platform they are added as a user for your organization on the platform. The users’ permissions, resources and team membership are managed from your 42Crunch platform.
Collections/Projects ownership and sharing is managed through Teams on the platform. There is no automatic link between Teams and AD groups, but you can assign admins who can create a Team corresponding to an AD group and invite only those group members to join the team.
Thereafter, only those team members will have access to the Collections/Projects created for that team.
